Whether you want to improve your daily movements or build lasting strength, our studio provides a clean, peaceful, welcoming space where distractions fade away, letting you focus entirely on your health goals.

We're here to support you through every step of your fitness journey because we believe that we are not defined by the numbers of years we’ve been on earth, and movement is the key to living a vibrant fulfilling life.

Meet Ruth!

I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 25 years. My own fitness journey started in my mid-twenties when I started taking fitness classes. The fun and camaraderie I experienced in the classes led me to becoming a fitness instructor myself and gave me the confidence to work out in the gym.

I am passionate about helping others train with proper form. I take pride in being able to modify a movement, provide options, and find the right cues to ensure your success in moving YOUR body.

​

Let’s work together! If you are seeing a physiotherapist, chiropractor or other specialists for an injury or prevention, I am more than happy to work with them to gain a better understanding of what I can do to support the work you are doing with them.​

More of Ruth's Story...

With a passion for movement and wellness, Ruth is a CanFitPro certified Group Fitness Instructor and has her 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training. She’s also Heartwise certified, completed her Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Level 1, and has pursued specialized training in Active Aging and Older Adult fitness.

 

Ruth continuously expands her knowledge by taking courses and workshops to stay current with the latest in fitness and movement techniques, so she can share them with you.

​

Ruth has called Ottawa home since 1990. Although it took some time to adjust to Canadian winters, she’s grateful to have raised her family here, building lifelong friendships and community.

​

In her free time, Ruth enjoys cycling, cooking, baking, and listening to music. Her mission is to help you move better and feel stronger in a supportive, welcoming environment.
